See below some photos from the Ladies Christmas lunch. As you can see it was a lovely occasion with some great golf followed by lunch. Captain Anne gave all the ladies a beautiful jar of home-made preserves to take home. There was some interesting entertainment including a brilliant sketch by Jennifer Sowman which involved a pant-suit and a wedding but that's all we can say - as they say what goes on in the club-house stays in the club-house! A group of ladies performed a flash-dance to Bee Gee's Staying Alive which they had been practising as a surprise for Captain Anne, who said it was now clear what the ladies had been up to on the Tuesday's in November/December when the course was closed!
Congratulations to Anne Hackett who had a hole in one today on the 5th hole in Kilmashogue. What a way to bounce back from her recent accident!
Following a successful AGM this evening chaired by our outgoing President Geoff Brooks our new Captains Anne and Brendan and President Dodie now take the helm for 2018/2019 and all the members of KGC send them best wishes for a successful and ejoyable year.

Following our win against Hermitage, Revive Active Ladies Team play Knockanally tomorrow (Fri) at 2.30pm with two matches at home and three away.
The ladies Bloom Team went to Dunlaoghaire, Tuesday 8th May, having won a match and halved a match so all square! In sunny, but very blustery conditions the second two pairs lost their matches, resulting in the third match ( which was one up going up the 17th hole) being called in.
The Ladies Bloom match 1st leg was played in KGC today, Thursday 3rd May. One match was won, one lost and one halved.
Huge congrats to Revive Active team who beat Hermitage 3-2 yesterday. All 5 matches had to be played away due to flooding in KGC. Travel time to Hermitage took almost 3 hours due to road closures following an accident and the matches started over an hour late. KGC were not affected by the absence of ANY putting practice time and the final match finally holed out on the 18th at 9:20 in darkness! Great work ladies.
It was all happening this weekend .... three of our teams played Saturday & Sunday -
Hard luck to our Junior Foursomes team who lost out to Elm Park today in Bray in cold and misty conditions.
