The results of the Hole in the Wall 2014 are in the Results section of the website and posted in the clubhouse. Prizes for those who did not get to the presentation in Stackstown are available in the office.
Well done to Andrew Murphy who impressed our neighbours Stackstown with a Hole in One on KGC's third hole yesterday during the Shay Kearney Hole in the Wall Competition. Andrew was partnered by his Uncle Brian Murphy.
Despite a great KGC team this year Stackstown managed to retain the Shay Kearney Trophy. It was a great day and contrary to the weather forecast we all managed to stay dry. There was a great atmosphere in the Stackstown Club House during the prizegiving. Winners who attended were presented with bottles of wine (including Gedingka & Colin and Liam & Tim). Other prizewinners can collect their prizes from the KGC Club house later. A list of winners will be posted later this week. Thanks to everyone who participated.
Well done to Colin Bell & Gedingka Fair who won the Mixed Matchplay Final this afternoon in cool and blustery conditions. Hard luck to Dougie Egan and Eileen Hickey who gave them a great match.

A very successful Hospice Coffee Morning was held in the club house on Thursday 18th September.
Barbara Kearney and Jack Kearney retained the Paul Noonan Memorial Trophy with a great score of 44 points.

The Men's Away Day was very well attended in Powerscourt Golf Club today. The weather was amazing and a great day was had by all. Eleven groups played the East Course which was in tip top shape and I think we played a medal set up as the pins were in difficult places everywhere
The course will be closed next Wednesday 3rd September for hollow tining.
